Silver End Pink Floyd
Silver End Pink Floyd are a tribute band based in Essex UK, performing a variety of Pink Floyd music. Formed by two friends in 2009, the band uses backing tracks that guitarist Gary and singer and percussionist Ian, perform over. They have enjoyed considerable success on the pub circuit around Essex and at the Party in the Park.
The band also has the ability, with the addition of Fiona, to perform a wide range of music from each of the decades starting with the 1950's!
Silver End Pink Floyd are ideal for playing small gigs such pubs, parties, festivals and a variety of social gatherings where entertainment for a wide range of ages and tastes is needed.
Sadly, Gary Halloran (pictured on the left above) passed away in the early hours of Sunday @@@@ 2011 at the age of 45, having battled a rare form of cancer for several years.
Gary was a friend and a fine musician. He was a rare man who asked nothing of others but was prepared to give all. He lived for his family and his music and at PMS we are proud to have numbered him amongst our friends and are priviledged to have known such a lovely man and to have had him as part of our lives. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
The band has now ceased to exist and so we retain this page as a memorial to our dear friend. RIP Gary.
